The Hapimag Resort in Marbella is the home to many of the U3A International 50 or so activities as well as lectures once or twice a week. Additionally regular weekly coffee mornings and monthly lunches are held there as well as occasional events. All of these often take place on the magnificent terrace overlooking the Paseo Maritimo and the sea. The majority of the annual 70 lectures/presentations also take place in Sala Marbella. The hospitality of the management and staff is second to none and members of U3A international are made especially welcome. This first class resort can be found in Marbella at Camilo Jose Cela, number 17. The Hapimag is a large white building which backs directly on to the Paseo in central Marbella. There is underground parking within the adjacent complex, Plaza del Mar and there is further underground parking near Parque de la Constitucion in Avenida Arias Maldonado. Free parking can be found at times in streets close by while reasonable metered parking is usually available in Calle Ramon Gomez de la Sierra and other nearby streets. Metered parking is free between 2p.m. and 4.30p.m.

BAR AND CAFETERIA DANI, Alhaurin el Grande
Bar and Cafeteria Dani is situated on the main street (Calle Gerald Brenan 97) about 700 metres from the Cross roundabout. It is on the LEFT when leaving Alhaurin el Grande on the A404 heading towards Alhaurin de la Torre.

LA TAVOLA BY MIKY, Coín
From Alhaurin and Marbella, La Tavola de Miky (formerly Leslie’s Bar) is just off the A-355, the Marbella-Cartama road, at Coín. Leave the A-355 at the Coin exit and take the first exit at the roundabout – A7059. The restaurant is shortly on the right after the entrance to Sierra Gorda.

EL BICHITO, Alhaurin el Grande
From the junction where the Marbella to Coin road (A355) crosses the A404 the road from Coin to Alhaurin el Grande travel in the direction of Alhaurin el Grande. At the large roundabout with the venta (los Chavos) on the left take the left hand exit. Continue along this road and venta el Bichito will be found on the left and slightly below the level of the road. Slightly past El Bichito, also on the left, is Poligono Rosa at which point a U turn is required! There is parking to the front of the venta as well as a private area at the rear.
