This is an overview of the History of Architecture from 3000 BCE to modern times in chronological order. With the aid of visual presentations, the aim is to analyse each period in order to understand the evolution of style and discuss the historical timetable that led to the building of masterpieces. Each period will be examined in order to provide understanding of the evolution of the typology of building.
The series will comprise approximately 50 monthly presentations spread over a number of years.
There is no requirement to register for this activity. Any member may attend by prior reservation for each individual presentation. Participants can dip in and out according to their availability and particular interest.
