This walk starts in Benahavís and follows along the boardwalk in the Benahavís Gorge, before crossing the gorge and climbing up to the old aqueduct. The walk then continues along the aqueduct before dropping down to the river and returning along a new trail by the river and then returning to the village by the boardwalk. The scenery is spectacular!

Directions to the meeting place

From Marbella
Take the A7175  turning to Benahavís off the A7, which is the second exit after the San Pedro tunnel from Marbella. Go across the roundabout towards Benahavís. At next roundabout decorated with a Benahavís waterfall, go straight on. The road goes under the AP7 and then comes to a cross-roads. Go straight across and continue to the next roundabout at the entrance to the village (about 3 km). Just after the third roundabout there is a natural right turn in the road and there are some speed bumps. Then on the right hand side are some buildings and the cookery school which has three flag-poles outside. Just after that, again on the right hand side, is the first café on this stretch with chairs and tables outside. This is the meeting place. There is plenty of parking immediately before the café.
