This walk begins at the beautifully maintained Leonera Park in Benahavis and after a short, steep incline proceeds past the Sports Centre and enters the picturesque Dragonfly Trail along the Guadalmina river to the Benahavis Reservoir. Through countryside, it circumnavigates the reservoir and leads back into Benahavis. It climbs the steep incline to Benahavis centre where refreshments can be enjoyed at one of the many restaurants, prior to the descent to the parking area.

Some walkers may find the two steep inclines challenging.

Directions to the Meeting Point

From the A7/N340, take the A7175 to Benahavis. At the roundabout at the entrance to the village, take the first exit. The Leonera Park is +/- 200 metres ahead on your left, where parking is available.
