The walk begins in the town of Pizarra and follows the path of the Romeria up to the El Santo monument on the top of the hill overlooking the town. The track passes through woods and an unusual tunnel through the rocks. It then climbs through pine forest and moorland until the monument is reached. There are spectacular views from here. On return the path loops around moorland at the top before descending through the woods back to the start.
