Cartama

We meet behind La Trocha Service Station then drive to Cartama where we park in the Town Centre.
This is a circular route with two ascents, each about 250m. From the town we quickly climb up into Sierra de los Espartales then down the other side & across to the MA307 where we can get a coffee before resuming our walk. This time we climb up via an arroyo to the castle above Cartama, then descend past the Ermita back into the town.
This route does not go through any pine forests.
