MANILVA – EL CANUTO AND LOS BAÑOS DE LA HEDIONDA -- Reservations Now Accepted
hill Walk

This is a circular walk that climbs up through the superb karstic canyon, El Canuto de la Utrera, before crossing heathland and then returning along the beautiful Ruta de los Molinos which runs alongside the Rio de Manilva. Towards the end of the walk there will be an opportunity to cool off in the Baños de la Hedionda. This tiny spa, fed by a naturally sulphurous spring, was reputedly visited by Julius Caesar.

MARBELLA – ERMITA DE LOS MONJES

MARBELLA – ERMITA DE LOS MONJES
hill Walk

This walk climbs through a forest alongside a mountain stream to the ruined Ermita de los Monjes. It then emerges from the forest with great views of Marbella, Puerto Banús and across to Gibraltar and North Africa on a clear day.

Although not a long or particularly arduous walk it does involve some climbing over rocks, crossing of streams and a short section traversing a hillside with the help of fixed chains. Therefore walkers need to be sure-footed.

The walk then descends to the Macho Montés mirador above Marbella before following a winding path through woods back to the starting point.
