MANILVA – EL CANUTO AND LOS BAÑOS DE LA HEDIONDA -- Reservations Now Accepted
hill Walk

This is a circular walk that climbs up through the superb karstic canyon, El Canuto de la Utrera, before crossing heathland and then returning along the beautiful Ruta de los Molinos which runs alongside the Rio de Manilva. Towards the end of the walk there will be an opportunity to cool off in the Baños de la Hedionda. This tiny spa, fed by a naturally sulphurous spring, was reputedly visited by Julius Caesar.

COÍN – THE BLUE QUARRY
hill Walk

The walk “las canteras azules” starts by climbing gently through the pine forest above the abandoned Ciudad del Cine. After a pause at the top of the incline, the route follows a narrow, stony path above the Barranco Blanco valley with steep scree slopes on the left (vertigo sufferers beware). There will then be a stop to have a snack at the summit of Cerró Gordo from where there are fine views in all directions.
