THE HISTORY OF SOUTH AMERICA AND THE FALKLAND ISLANDS Part 2

A tour of the countries around the coastline of South America. This includes Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil.  Their history, the relationships with Europe and how they look today. Also covered will be the history and the situation of the Falkland Islands.

This talk includes discussion of the pre-columbian cultures (Incas, Aztecs etc.), the influence of Spain and the development of government during the 19th and 20th centuries and will be further enhanced with photographs taken during a recent visit around this wonderful continent.
