“Going Green”, a comedy by David Tristram

Friday November 18, 2016 8:00pm

At the Atalaya Park Hotel, near San Pedro

“The people had lost faith in the political establishment. Expenses scandals, cash for questions, fat-cat bankers, austerity, riots……the whole country was crying out for a new direction, a fresh start.”

Usually known for his farces and fantasies, David Tristram now gives us a tragi-comedy.   John is the obvious future leader of the Green Party, with great vision and charisma – but he also has a problem. He is suffering from an extremely rare illness from which, apparently, there is only one possible way out – “Go green….or die!”

We may provide a coach that would start in Coin and pick up at  La Canada, Elviria, Copper Tower Pirulí, and  Puerto Banus but this depend on the demand. While we do wish to make every effort to be inclusive it would require a minimum of  21 people to make a coach viable. We do have to act responsibly and avoid a potential loss  for U3A International.

The deadline for confirming this arrangement will be Monday 7th November. If you and your party are interested in using a coach for this event, please let us know before this date so we are better placed to make a decision.  The likely price for travel by coach would be 26€ per person and would include the cost of the mini bus, theatre ticket, and the gratuity for the driver.

Otherwise tickets only on this date only are available to U3A International members  at the special price of  just €10 each

The show starts at 8pm. Early arrival is advised as the theatre does not have numbered seating.
