CASTILLO SOHAIL TO LOS BOLICHES PLAYA, FUENGIROLA

Leaving the Parque del Castillo behind, with its castle resplendent on the hill, this walk embarks on the Fuengirola Paseo Maritimo. It crosses the Fuengirola river, passes the Puerto Deportivo and arrives at the Espigon de la T and then continues to Los Boliches playa. It passes a variety of street bars and chiringuitos, which in full season are a hub of activity. Return is by the same route after an opportunity for refreshments at a nearby chiringuito.

Directions to the meeting place from Marbella

CAR

Take the A7 direction Malaga. Immediately after seeing the welcome to Fuengirola sign just before Fuengirola, head on to the slip road and at the mini roundabout turn right on to Calle Tartesios and enter the Parque del Castillo parking. Walk from the car park to the paseo maritimo where you will see Bar Bikini Beach on your left. The meeting place is on the paseo maritimo opposite this Bar. BUS

Take the 220 bus from Marbella and get off at the stop called El Castillo. From the bus stop follow the path down to the seafront and walk past the hotel until the end of the building where you will see Bar Bikini Beach on your right.
