MARBELLA TOURIST OFFICE TO RIO REAL

Walk Participants will head east along the busy Marbella paseo maritimo following the orange trees and passing the Fishermen's cottages and lockups. They will then continue along the paseo past chiringuito La Dolce Vita before entering the boardwalk along the sand dunes that leads towards Bahia de Marbella. Along the way participants will have sea views, and on the left, they will see various commercial enterprises, luxury urbanizations and the Rio Real golf course. There will be an opportunity to take refreshments at a chiringuito before returning along the same route.

Directions to meeting place

CAR

Take the N340 to central Marbella and turn down Avenue Arias Maldonade towards the seafront (a large building with the words SKOL on the side will be visible). There is a large underground carpark (charges apply) in this avenue, or turn right at the end of this avenue (next to the Skol building) and continue for a few blocks until you pass the Hapimag Hotel (where many U3A activities are held) to the Plaza Del Mar, which also has an underground car park. Walk back to the Skol building and down to the seafront where the walk will begin. Please refer to the 'what 3words' location.

BUS

Take the 220 or the 60  bus from Fuengirola, the 79 bus from Estepona or the 13 bus from San Pedro, all towards Marbella. Get off at the stop called Marbella Centro. Walk about 200m in the San Pedro direction and turn left down Avenue Arias Maldonade towards the seafront (a large building with the words SKOL on the side will be visible). Go past the Skol building down to the seafront where the walk will begin. Please refer to the 'what 3words' location.
