TOBLERONE BRIDGE TO RIO GRANDE PAST VIVEROS GUZMÁN

Country Walk December 18, 2017 10:30am Aluminios San Vicente, A404, Coín (Leave A355 between Km 7-8 direction Coín)
Mike Kinchington

From the meeting place in Coín there is car sharing to the start of the walk due to limited parking.
From the “Toblerone” bridge over the Rio Pereilas the route proceeds along the tarmac road through arable countryside. Except for two short easy hills, at the start and halfway, the route is very flat. After about 4km the route follows a track down to a Eucalyptus grove next to the Rio Grande. This presents an opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of an authentic Spanish country lane. At the river there is a chance to rest, picnic, paddle and whatever pleases, before returning along the same route.
