Three Peaks nr Ojen

This week’s walk to be led by Barry will be to the three high peaks between Puerto de Ojen and the coast, the ones with the radio masts on top. (Together with Roy and Vernon I sampled this walk last year and we all really enjoyed it). We will meet at 10:15 just off the A355 at the top junction to Ojen when coming from Marbella. From inland it will be the first Ojen junction. Turn sharp left on this junction and wait at the bottom of the hill, on the side of the road that goes up to the Eco Hotel (the one with the green dome above Ojen). We will drive up past the entrance road to the Hotel and park just after the little wooded area. After an initial steepish climb of a couple of hundred meters we then have a gradual ascent which, I’m sure you’ll all find easy after the last two hill walks!!
The walk has, subject to the weather, fantastic panoramic views from just over 1000 mtrs at the top. The total walking time should be around two and a half hours. Refreshments can be taken at the Venta near the Juanar turn afterwards.
