THE HUMAN COST OF THE SPANISH CIVIL WAR

Following on from last year’s excellent presentation on the effects of the Spanish Civil War in Andalucia, the presenter will explore the human cost of the Civil War in Spain.

This will include many anecdotes from the war, as well as fifteen testimonials of survivors of both sides of the conflict, Nationalists and Republicans, the left and right wings. Also covered will be the involvement of the Blue Division and the International Brigades, the Spanish Emigration, President Adolf Suarez and finally the Spanish Political Transition.
