ALBUQUERIA VALLEY – LOWER WATERFALLS ROUTE (NOW CLOSED OFF)

Albuqueria Valley – Lower Waterfalls Route
The walk starts up a 1 km track through pleasant woodland. The track becomes a single file, stoney path that gradually gets steeper towards its end, hence the Medium difficulty. The walk emerges on a wide, easy, undulating track through cork oaks and grassy areas with beautiful views. It crosses a couple of little streams where, during wet times, there are some good waterfalls. However at present they are just a trickle. You won’t get wet. Further for about 3 km, rest and then return by the same route. Distance: 7 – 8 Km, Time: 2 – 2.5 hr, Difficulty: Medium
