ALBUQUERIA VALLEY – UPPER WATERFALLS ROUTE
The walk starts through pleasant woodland along a 1 km track which becomes a single file, stony path, gradually getting steeper towards its end. The path emerges onto a wide track that continues upwards for about 0,5 km. It then becomes easier, passing cork oaks and points where there are beautiful views. A couple of little streams are crossed where, during wet times, some good waterfalls can be seen. Feet won’t get wet, though. The track is then followed for about 3 km, where a rest is taken. The return is by the same route.
