ALBUQUERIA VALLEY – UPPER WATERFALLS ROUTE
The start of this walk is very difficult for the first km and the first half hour because of the steep rocky path with deep gullies and loose stones. However, it does ascend to a wider path which can be called a pleasant and easy, country walk. The track continues upwards, passing cork oaks and points where there are beautiful views. A couple of little streams are crossed where, during wet times, some good waterfalls can be seen. Wet feet can be avoided, though. The easier track is then followed for about 3 km, where a rest is taken. The return is by the same route which means that the last kilometre again is very challenging.
