Because of the heavy rains, it is now difficult to pass over the bridge at the Rio Grande, so we have changed this walk to the other one you see on the website.

Las Huertas de Coín is a small hamlet in the country between Guaro and Coín. The walk starts down to a bridge over the Rio Grande, then up a reasonably steep slope next to agricultural land. There are spectacular views of the Sierra de las Nieves. The route is circular and the path crosses a manageable stream, then back over the Rio Grande using a different bridge. The track passes close to farmsteads with cattle in the yards and back to the start point.
