OJÉN VALLEYS IN REVERSE

This is a reverse Country Walk. The walk starts from Ojén Cemetery, walking along a valley above a stream accompanied by the sound of rushing water. Walking up through pine woods there is a broad track that takes us up around a wooded valley with views of the mountains and areas around Ojén. The track is all downhill from here with more beautiful views. Take the diversion to pass over the stream using an ancient goat herding bridge. Finally walking back along the valley with the rushing stream below. Back at the start point one can take the steps down the side of the valley to the stream below (be aware you have to come up again!)

Directions to Meeting Place

Take the A355. Between Km 31 and 30 take the junction towards Ojén A7103. After 1.9 Km you see a sign Ojén/El Castana. Immediately you come to a “flat” roundabout. There is a large lay-by on the roundabout with a basura (bins). This is the meeting place.
