Pizarra May 2012

The Pizarra Meeting Point is at N36 45.864 W4 42.632
The walk is about 10 km and starts in the town of Pizarra and follows the track of the Romeria up to the monument on the top of the hill overlooking the town. The track goes through woods and an unusual tunnel through rocks before climbing through moorland to the spectacular views from the monument. On the return we go around the moorland at the top before descending through the same woods we started in.
Change in elevation is 370m and it is graded medium for a hill walk.
