REFUGIO de JUANAR MIRADORS

This is an easy walk with no major challenges on the walk. From the starting point, the walk proceeds up an incline through the pines. It takes the path to the mirador overlooking Ojén. The path returns to the flat track leading to the second mirador above Marbella. There will be a stop here for a few minutes of rest and refreshment. The return route follows a single-file path through the woods back to the starting point.

From Marbella

Take the A355 direction Ojén. Continue past Ojén. About 1 - 2 km after the top of the hill, the turn-off for the Refugio de Juanar is signposted on the left. Take this turn off and continue, about 5 km, until reaching the end of the main road. At this point, the hotel is to the right. Straight ahead is an unmade road on which it is possible to park. Please do not use the hotel carpark.

From Coín/Alhaurín/Cártama

Take the A355 direction Marbella.  About 5 - 6 km after Monda, the turn-off for the Refugio de Juanar is signposted on the right. Take the turn off and continue, about 5 km, until reaching the end of the main road. At this point, the hotel is to the right. Straight ahead is an unmade road on which it is possible to park. Please do not use the hotel carpark.
