CABOPINO CIRCUIT
Starting in the sandy Cabopino car park the route follows the boardwalks next to the beach and sand dunes. Then, for about 2 km the trail passes through pleasant streets, crossing the A7 and up to the E15. It crosses over the E15 into unspoilt countryside, where there are irises in springtime. There are are some gradients and some rough ground. After stopping to rest on the crest of a hill overlooking the sea, the path works its way back down to the coast past the picturesque lakes of a golf course. Crossing the A7 again, using a narrow foot bridge, the path arrives at the beach and the walk goes a short distance on the sand to the Puerto Cabopino marina. The end of the walk is back on the beach near the car park. Refreshments can be taken or a paddle in Cabopino bay.
Dogs: Unfortunately this walk is not suitable for dogs as there is a narrow foot bridge over a very busy road as well as a significant distance where they would have to be on the lead.
